Wheels up.

For many of you who will be jetting in, be on the lookout for airfare deals to Seattle but don't wait 'til the last minute to book!

Our wedding weekend is also Columbus Day weekend, so many of you might have a bonus day off to pack more into your Seattle trip. We’d recommend making a full weekend (or longer!) out of our special day, especially if you haven’t spent much time in this neck of the woods.

Wheels down.

Getting from Sea-Tac to Downtown Seattle takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Ordering an Uber or Lyft is pretty seamless once you land and could cost anywhere from $35 - $90. The LightRail is an inexpensive option for those who can handle a little train ride into town on public transportation. Renting a car is cool if you’re planning to do some exploring around outside of Seattle but certainly not a necessity.

For those just coming downtown day-of, there is only valet parking available at The Edgewater. There are several hourly garages in and around the market, however. If it's at all possible, we'd recommend not driving!

Get a room.

Below you'll find some suggestions for accommodations near The Edgewater in Downtown Seattle. We have not stayed in any of these hotels, so please do your own research before committing to a spot! (We can vouch for The Edgewater, of course.)

If the nearby waterfront and boutique hotels aren't your jam, there are hundreds of quality Vrbo & Airbnb properties within walking distance. The city is pretty accessible by rideshare (Uber & Lyft), so even if you don't stay downtown, you should be good to go.

Check-In: Friday, October 11, 2024 | Check-Out: Sunday, October 13, 2024

The iconic Edgewater Hotel is where you'll need to be on Saturday for the ceremony and party, so if you want to stay close to the action all weekend, great!

If this is your hotel of choice, its best to book as soon as possible. This is Seattle's only over-water hotel and has a rich rock & roll history (the Beatles have iconic photo here during their Seattle tour), as well as a little history in our personal lives.

We have a few rooms blocked so please USE THE LINK BELOW to see what's available at the discounted rate.
